Job Title: Window Cleaning Technician

Location: Based in Castle Hill - Working regions include Sydney’s Hills District, Upper North Shore, and surrounding regions

Schedule: Part-time, with shifts generally running 6–8 hours depending on the day's jobs. Potential for full-time advancement as the business grows. 2–3 days per week initially, with potential to increase hours over time.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Pay: $30 per hour, with performance-based bonuses
• Travel: Company travel between job locations is covered.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service, ensuring customer satisfaction on every job.
• Equipment Care: Handle and maintain all tools and equipment responsibly.
• Punctuality: Arrive on time for each job in the required uniform.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Problem Solving: Address on-site challenges quickly and effectively, ensuring high standards are met.
• Communication Skills: Interact professionally with clients and team members, listening to and addressing needs and concerns.
• Positive Attitude: Maintain a friendly, proactive approach throughout the day.

Requirements

• No previous experience in window cleaning is required. (Training will be provided)
• Comfortable working at heights, including ladders and elevated work areas, with full training provided.
• Valid driver’s license (required for travel).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Hiring Process

We want to make sure the role is a good fit for both you and Homestead Solutions, so the hiring process involves a couple of simple steps:

1. 10-minute phone call
A quick introduction to learn a little about you, your availability and what you're looking for to see if it's the right fit.

2. 30–60 minute Zoom interview
Next, we'll discuss the role in more detail and run through a few customer service and on-site scenarios to see how you approach different situations.

3. Final step
If we feel you're a good fit, we'll discuss the next steps and arrange your induction. The position includes a 4-week probation period, during which you'll receive training and become familiar with our equipment, systems, safety procedures and service standards. This also gives both you and Homestead Solutions the opportunity to make sure the role is a good long-term fit.
