Overview

We are looking for an experienced uPVC and Aluminium Window Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will play an important role in manufacturing high-quality, bespoke window solutions, transforming raw materials into finished products with precision and care.

You must have previous experience in window fabrication and be familiar with Selecta and Alunet software/systems. We are looking for a reliable, practical and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their workmanship and can work efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and assemble uPVC and aluminium window components accurately using hand tools and power tools.
• Fabricate window frames, sashes and other components in line with manufacturing specifications.
• Operate fabrication machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use Selecta and Alunet software/systems as part of the window manufacturing process.
• Assemble window frames, glass panes, hardware and fittings where required.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Identify and resolve fabrication issues to maintain accuracy and minimise waste.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop.
• Work closely with colleagues to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Monitor material usage and report any shortages or equipment issues.

Skills & Experience Required

• Essential: Previous experience in uPVC and aluminium window fabrication.
• Familiarity with Selecta and Alunet software/systems.
• Good understanding of window manufacturing processes and fabrication techniques.
• Confident using hand tools, power tools and fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing specifications and measurements accurately.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic fabrication issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Good time management and the ability to work to production deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable, hardworking attitude with a strong focus on quality and safety.
