Window Manufacturer

Capital Windows is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Window & Door Fabricator to join our manufacturing team at our Walkden factory.

The successful candidate will have experience in the manufacture of UPVC and/or aluminium windows and doors, including casement windows and French doors. You will be responsible for producing high-quality products efficiently, working to production targets while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and safety.

You must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The ability to take responsibility, communicate effectively and help coordinate other team members would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Cutting, welding, assembling and beading UPVC and/or aluminium window and door frames.
• Manufacturing windows and doors to the required specifications and quality standards.
• Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Handling materials and reasonably heavy loads safely.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth production.
• Supporting and coordinating other team members where required.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Previous experience in UPVC and/or aluminium window and door fabrication.
• Competent in cutting, welding, assembly and beading.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, conscientious and punctual, with excellent attendance.
• Ability to manage or support other team members.
• Physically capable of handling reasonably heavy materials safely.

Salary Dependant on Experience
