Window Service Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented Window Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this field-based position, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining window and door installations.

As a primary point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring all installations and repairs meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repairs: Identify and resolve mechanical and structural faults across uPVC, aluminium, windows and doors.
• Component Replacement: Fit replacement hinges, handles, locks, gearbox mechanisms, and double-glazed sealed units.
• Maintenance & Adjustments: Perform routine maintenance, toe-and-heeling, alignment, and draft-proofing adjustments.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all remedial work is completed cleanly, safely, and to the highest standard of craftsmanship.
• Client & Team Communication: Deliver polite, professional service to customers on-site and maintain clear updates with management.
• Reporting: Complete clear digital job reports, material lists, and signoffs accurately after each visit.
• Safety Standards: Adhere strictly to company health, safety, and risk assessment protocols at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Window Service Engineer, Window Fitter, Glazier, or in a closely related field service role.
• Strong working knowledge of various window/door hardware, locking mechanisms, and profile systems.
• Valid Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent customer-facing skills with a clean, professional approach.
• Good time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
