Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Window Treatments Interior Designer for our new showroom! .In this role, you will be the expert guiding clients through the selection and installation of custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, drapes, and shutters. Your passion for interior design combined with technical proficiency will help transform spaces while delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-end projects, collaborate with clients during renovation and remodeling processes, and showcase your expertise in both design and sales.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their interior design needs related to window treatments and provide tailored solutions that enhance their space.
• Conduct detailed layout design using tools like SketchUp, CAD, or other design software to visualize window treatment options within client spaces.
• Present product demos, explain features, and upsell premium options to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage the entire sales process from initial consultation through deal closing, including negotiation and handling objections effectively.
• Collaborate with contractors, builders, and renovation teams to ensure seamless integration of window treatments during remodeling or construction projects.
• Maintain strong customer relationships by providing ongoing support for installation, maintenance, and future upgrades.
• Keep organized records of client interactions using CRM systems and ensure accurate POS transactions and cash handling during sales.

Experience

• Proven experience in interior design with a focus on window treatments or related products such as blinds, shades, or shutters.
• Strong background in outside sales and inside sales environments within retail or construction sales settings.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems for layout design and client management.
• Knowledge of renovation processes, construction experience, lighting design, and remodeling is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end sales and upselling premium products.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse clientele effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stocking, product demos, and customer service interactions.

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour
