Window VMware Lead

Role: Lead IT Systems Engineer (Windows + Vmware)

Location: Hyderabad

Shift timings: 5 PM to 2 AM IST

Work Mode: Work from office (Monday to Friday)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our organizations IT infrastructure. This contract role will focus on system reliability, security, performance optimization, and infrastructure modernization. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing complex IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure systems and services
• Administer servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Implement system upgrades, patches, and backups
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
• Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection practices
• Manage Active Directory, identity access, and group policies
• Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues
• Recommend infrastructure improvements and cost-effective solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Solid networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routing)
• Experience with backup, recovery, and monitoring tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA, VMware)
• Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
• Experience with configuration management tools
• Previous experience in a contract or project-based role
