About the Role

We looking for an experienced Windows & Doors Estimator to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and detailed quotations for residential window and door projects.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in aluminium windows and doors estimating, who can confidently interpret architectural drawings, prepare take-offs, work with suppliers, and develop professional quotations.

You will work closely with our sales and project coordination teams to ensure quotations are accurate, commercially competitive, and submitted within required deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, plans, and window/door schedules.
• Prepare accurate quantity and size take-offs.
• Prepare detailed quotations for aluminium windows, doors, glazing, hardware, and related products.
• Select appropriate aluminium systems, glass types, glazing specifications, hardware, and configurations.
• Obtain, compare, and analyse supplier/manufacturer pricing.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, specifications, lead times, and product availability.
• Coordinate with sales and project teams to ensure quotations meet project requirements.
• Manage multiple quotations and meet strict deadlines.
• Follow up on quotations and assist the internal team in converting enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in windows and doors estimating or quoting.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and window/door schedules.
• Experience preparing material take-offs and detailed quotations.
• Knowledge of aluminium window and door systems.
• Good understanding of glass types, glazing specifications, hardware, and configurations.
• Experience obtaining and comparing supplier/manufacturer pricing.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple quotations and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to confidently communicate with clients, builders, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, commercially minded, organised, and confident working independently. Previous experience estimating windows and doors for residential construction projects is highly preferred.
