Windows Server Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Windows Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our organization's Windows server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system availability, performance, security, and reliability across all Windows-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File/Print services
• Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime
• Perform regular patching, updates, and security hardening of servers
• Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Administer virtualization platforms (Hyper-V/VMware)
• Implement and manage server security policies, firewalls, and access controls
• Monitor system logs and respond to alerts/incidents proactively
• Coordinate with cross-functional IT teams for infrastructure projects
• Maintain documentation of server configurations, processes, and SOPs
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and industry standards
• Provide L2/L3 support for server-related issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• [X]+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V/VMware)
• Familiarity with backup tools and disaster recovery practices
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation
• Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls)
• Experience with Microsoft 365/Azure environments is a plus
• Relevant certifications preferred: MCSA (or equivalent legacy certification), or current equivalents such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate (AZ-800/AZ-801) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Exposure to clustering and high-availability configurations
• Current Microsoft certifications (AZ-800/AZ-801, AZ-104) preferred over legacy MCSA

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
