Packaging Operator – Winery | Nuriootpa

We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Packaging Operators to join a busy winery operation in Nuriootpa. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for ongoing work in a fast-paced production environment.

About the Role

Working as part of the production and packaging team, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient operation of the packaging line while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring packaging and production equipment
• Packing finished products into cartons and boxes
• Performing quality checks on products and packaging
• Labelling, palletizing and preparing products for dispatch
• Loading and unloading materials as required
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures
• Meeting production targets and quality standards
• Working effectively as part of a team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in production, packaging, manufacturing or warehousing (preferred but not essential)
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong reliability and attendance
• Ability to follow procedures and safety requirements
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable transport to Nuriootpa

Shift Requirements

This position operates on a rotating roster between day , afternoon and night shifts, so candidates must be flexible and available to work all shift patterns.

Day Shift: 6.00 to 14.00, Afternoon Shift: 14.00 to 22.00,Night Shifts : 22.00 to 6.00
