Old York Cellars is looking for outgoing, dependable Winery Servers to join our hospitality team at our vineyard in Ringoes, New Jersey.

You do not need to be a wine expert. We provide paid training and will teach you about our wines, service standards, POS systems, and guest experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, working as part of a busy team, and creating memorable guest experiences in a unique winery setting.

Full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities are available. Weekend availability is required.

What You'll Do

As a Winery Server, you'll help guests enjoy their visit from arrival through departure.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and engage guests in a friendly, professional manner
• Serve wine, wine tastings, food, and other menu items
• Help guests learn about Old York Cellars wines and winery experiences
• Recommend wines, bottles, food pairings, and other options based on guest preferences
• Introduce interested guests to our Wine Club and current offerings
• Enter orders and process payments using our POS systems
• Bus and reset tables and help maintain clean, organized guest areas
• Assist with opening, closing, setup, breakdown, and sanitation procedures
• Work alongside servers, food runners, hosts, bartenders, and managers to keep service running smoothly
• Support winery events, busy weekends, and special guest experiences
• Follow Old York Cellars policies and responsible alcohol-service procedures

What We're Looking For

Hospitality experience is helpful, but not required.

We are especially interested in people who are:

Physical Requirements

This is an active hospitality position. Team members must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Move throughout indoor and outdoor areas of the property
• Work on concrete, wood, stone, gravel, and grass surfaces
• Work in changing indoor and outdoor weather conditions
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Compensation

Guaranteed minimum of $17 per hour for tipped hours worked.

Server compensation consists of an hourly base wage plus pooled tips. If eligible wages and pooled tips do not equal at least $17 per hour for tipped hours during the applicable pay period, Old York Cellars pays the difference.

Additional earning opportunities may include incentives for Wine Club memberships.
