Winter Help - Year-End Processor

We are looking for a seasonal, part-time, office assistant to help with the organization and performance of administrative tasks, as well as make monthly computer accounting entries for clients using QuickBooks.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Job Overview and Scope

• Assist in preparing taxes for clients
• Organize office and assist field staff in way that optimize procedures
• Take messages including appointment cancellations and reschedules
• Make computer entries of financial information
• Maintain trusting relationships with clients
• Maintain and update databases such as mailing lists, contact lists, etc.
• Retrieve, sort and distribute incoming mail
• Prepare outgoing mail
• Perform receptionist duties
• Perform Check Accounting
• W-2/ 1099 Processing

Duties:

• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Thorough understanding of office management procedures
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Computer aptitude

Experience:

• Background in agriculture
