Wire Harness and Cable Assembly Technician

C.E. Electronics is looking for a detail-oriented person to join our Cable Department. This position focuses on building wire harnesses and cable assemblies used in our electronic products.

We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, works carefully, and is willing to learn. Previous cable assembly or soldering experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

What You'll Do

• Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies using drawings and work instructions
• Measure, cut, strip, and prepare wire
• Use various hand and pneumatic crimping tools to attach terminals, pins, and connectors
• Assemble wires, connectors, and other cable components
• Learn and perform soldering as part of the assembly process
• Check completed assemblies for proper connections and workmanship
• Follow established production and quality procedures
• Keep work organized and maintain a clean work area
• Cross-train in other production positions and assist in other areas as needed

What We're Looking For

• Good attention to detail and quality
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Comfortable working with small wires, terminals, and components
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to follow written instructions and assembly drawings
• Willingness to learn different tools and production processes
• Dependable and able to work well as part of a production team
• Previous manufacturing, wiring, cable assembly, or electronics experience is a plus, but not required

Soldering experience is not required. We will provide training.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
