Wire Transfer Specialist (Temporary Position)

• Minimum of one to two years of prior banking experience, including familiarity with wire transfer functions, and a minimum of two years of experience with banking operations functions.
• Responsible for verifying wire instructions, including originator and beneficiary information, beneficiary/intermediary bank and SWIFT codes, FATCA, signatures, account status, FTA, and availability of funds before processing wire transfers.
• Processes incoming, internal, and outgoing wire transfers received through Fedline, the SWIFT system, Online Banking, Terradom, and wire inboxes.
• Performs OFAC review, approval, and escalation; reviews and responds to SWIFT messages; prepares end-of-day balancing reports; confirms SWIFT messages are acknowledged; and reports and follows up with IT regarding NACK messages.
• Serves as backup for wire transfer callbacks, FEDMAIL automated wire notifications, wire-related email investigations and follow-up, daily wire balancing, and opening Wire Room functions.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, able to meet time-sensitive deadlines, and capable of escalating discrepancies appropriately.
• Must comply with all Bank policies and procedures, including BSA/AML requirements, and complete all required training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
