Wireless Drive Test Engineer

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform drive testing and signal testing activities according to the approved schedule and assigned routes.
• Ensure all testing activities are completed as scheduled and promptly escalate any issues encountered during field activities.
• Document areas that are inaccessible due to renovations, maintenance, flooding, road closures, or other site conditions.
• Process and validate test logs by conducting initial quality checks, including route completeness, proper log naming, and accurate plotting.
• Analyze the root causes of call event failures, network quality issues, and mobile data performance concerns.
• Prepare performance assessment reports covering BSC, NPS, trends, hotspots, weak areas, and heat maps.
• Ensure proper handling, safekeeping, and responsible use of all testing and post-processing tools provided by the client.
• Use client-provided tools and equipment strictly within the scope of defined activities and established procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in drive testing, mobile network performance, or telecom field operations.
• Knowledge of drive test methodology and procedures.
• Proficient in Actix, Accuver, and/or Nemo Analyze.
• Willing and capable of performing field drive test activities.
• Knowledgeable in Google Workspace/Looker Studio and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret network performance data.
• Knowledge or experience in automation and data processing is an advantage.
• Willing to work in a field-based environment and travel as required.
