Wireless Network Engineer - NV2

• Role: Wireless Engineer
• Security Clearance Required: NV2
• Location: Canberra

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers after the installation phase to ensure the smooth running of installed networks
• Working as an effective, trusted partner to customers in order to build long term relationships
• Check in and out assets as required for site work
• Work without supervision to deliver any of the team works:
• Predictive Surveys
• Onsite Surveys (Pre-Install and Post Install)
• Access Point installation
• Equipment installation
• On site auditing
• Patching and patching records
• Any other associated duties
• Pre-plan site visits, testing equipment, ensuring site access is approved and site visits are fully planned
• Supervise other staff when required
• Ensure all OH&S of all onsite staff
• Escalate issues promptly and clearly to supervisors, continuing the escalation to own the outcome

Essential Skills Engineering Skills:

• Base engineering knowledge, such as CompTIA A+ Certification, or transferable engineering skills

Organisational Skills:

• Ability to multitask, while working to deadlines
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Accurate completion of timesheets Demonstrate accountability regarding effective time management

Technical Skills:

• Practical and neat in the installation of equipment
• Understanding of RF concepts
• Base experience with MS Office (Word, Visio)
• Willingness, aptitude and focus to develop a working knowledge of the technical work delivered
