Wireline Field Engineer / Remote Engineer WLES

A major oil and gas service company in Saudi Arabia is seeking experienced Wireline Field Engineers / Remote Engineers to support WLES (Open Hole) operations. We are looking for experienced wireline professionals with a strong technical background who can support either field-based operations or remote technical support , depending on experience and suitability.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support and execute WLES / Open Hole wireline operations .
• Prepare, test and operate wireline equipment and downhole tools.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during operations.
• Monitor job performance and assist with resolving operational or equipment issues.
• Review operational data and provide technical guidance where required.
• Ensure all operations are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and HSE requirements.
• Complete job reports, operational documentation and equipment records.
• Liaise with field teams, technical personnel and clients as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Wireline Field Engineer, Wireline Engineer or Wireline Remote Engineer within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong WLES / Open Hole experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of Open Hole wireline logging operations, downhole tools and surface equipment .
• Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting or supervising wireline operations in a field environment.
• For Remote Engineer positions, previous experience providing remote technical/operational support is highly desirable.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Previous experience with a major oilfield service company is advantageous.
• Ability to work on a 12 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation .

Desired Candidate Profile

Previous experience as a Wireline Field Engineer, Wireline Engineer or Wireline Remote Engineer within the oil and gas industry. Strong WLES / Open Hole experience is essential.
