Wireman Building Maintenance (PW1/2/3/4)

About the role:

You will install commonly used wiring types, locate and repair faults in electrical systems, and organize maintenance requests and work orders. You will ensure HVAC and refrigeration systems operate properly, inspect cabling works, and conduct troubleshooting and repairs on facilities equipment. You will interpret electrical diagrams and general arrangement drawings, complete weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance of buildings, and maintain a positive relationship with vendors, co-workers, and customers. You will also make sure all civil and mechanical operation supporting the facility such as fire alarm system, generator and plumbing works are efficiently monitored and completed.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete panel wiring.
• Testing of electrical installation.
• Utilize and maintain power tool.
• Install all types of commonly used wiring.
• Locate and repairs faults in electrical systems.
• Organize and perform maintenance request and work orders.
• Ensure HVAC and refrigeration system are operating properly.
• Inspect and interpret electrical wiring systems and cabling works.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs as needed on Facilities equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical diagram and general arrangement drawings.
• Complete weekly and monthly and annual PMs (Preventative Maintenance) of equipment and building.
• Maintain positive effective relationships with vendors, co-workers and both internal and external customers.
• Ensure all mechanical / electrical equipment supporting the facility is maintained and functioning properly and make necessary repairs and/or perform maintenance, i.e., HVAC refrigeration, fire protection, plumbing, generators, etc.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications for the position applied.
• Able to work on weekends and rotational shift basis.
• Willing to be based / work at any of the listed locations.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Prior working experience and suitable academic qualifications are essential.
• Possess own transportation and necessary accommodations tocommute / travel.

Qualifications:

• Certified "OB Gas" applicants.
• Relevant certifications are compulsory for the position applied.
• ST certified credentials are prioritized for Electrician (PW1 / PW2) and Wireman (PW3 / PW4).
• However, SKM Certificate holders or Diploma / Degree fresh graduates from IKM / ILP / ABM / CIDB / IKTBN / GIATMARA only in electrical / AC fields are welcomed to submit your application and will be taken into consideration.
