This is a full-time contract position.
About the role
We are looking for a skilled Wireman to handle the installation, testing, and repair of low-voltage electrical systems. You will read technical blueprints, lay out conduits, and ensure all electrical wiring complies with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, conduits, trunking, and switches.
Assemble and install control panels, distribution boards (DB), and lighting fixtures.
Interpret electrical schematics, single-line drawings, and building layouts.
Perform routine troubleshooting on Single-Phase and Three-Phase systems (up to 415V).
Inspect existing wiring systems for wear, hazards, or defects and replace parts safely.
Assist the Chargeman or Senior Electrician with larger testing and commissioning tasks.
Adhere strictly to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and safety regulations.
About you
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience, calculated from the date of graduation.
- Full-time ST Competent Person.
- ST Competency Certificates.
