Wireman PW2

Job Scope

1. Carry out electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, testing, and repair works at project sites and company facilities.
2. Perform electrical installation works according to approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
3. Conduct inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and components.
4. Assist with electrical maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
5. Identify and rectify electrical faults and technical issues safely and efficiently.
6. Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with safety procedures and relevant regulations.
7. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
8. Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
9. Maintain proper records of inspection, testing, maintenance, and completed works.
10. Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians, contractors, and other project personnel.
11. Ensure proper use and maintenance of electrical tools, equipment, and materials.
12. Perform other electrical-related duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Job Requirements

1. Possess a valid PW2 Wireman Competency Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
2. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical wiring, maintenance, or engineering projects.
3. Experience in building maintenance, construction, or project sites is an advantage.
4. Able to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
5. Basic knowledge of electrical installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
6. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and applicable regulations.
7. Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Good communication and coordination skills.
9. Willing to work at project sites and travel when required.
10. Able to work overtime when required by project needs.
