About the role
You will carry out LV, control and power cable installation, glanding, termination and panel wiring for a 275kV GIS substation.
Responsibilities
- Lay, dress and tag LV power and control cables on trays, trenches and ladders
- Gland, terminate and ferrule cables to approved wiring diagrams
- Wire panels, marshalling boxes and the secondary circuits of GIS and transformers
- Install earthing conductors and bonding
- Record terminations and torque values for QC
- Follow PTW, LOTO and site safety rules
Requirements
- Valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga Certificate of Competency: PW3 or PW4
- 3+ years of wiring experience on industrial, substation or data centre projects
- Able to read wiring diagrams and cable schedules
- Valid CIDB Green Card
- Experience with control cable termination on HV equipment is an advantage
