Wireman / Technician

About the Role

Pathgreen Energy Sdn Bhd is looking for a Wireman to support our Solar PV Project Installation and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) activities.

The role involves hands-on electrical work including Solar PV installation, wiring, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair at project and customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, testing, and repair works.
• Assist with Solar PV installation and commissioning.
• Perform cable termination, electrical connections, and grounding works.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out rectification works.
• Work on single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and Single-Line Diagrams (SLD).
• Use electrical testing equipment for inspection and troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Attend project and customer sites as required.
• Prepare basic service reports, checklists, and maintenance records.
• Ensure all work follows electrical safety and HSE requirements.
• Maintain proper care of tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid PW2, PW4, or SKM Electrical certification (mandatory).
• Experience in electrical wiring, installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with the required electrical certification are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge or experience in Solar PV systems is an added advantage, but training will be provided.
• Willing to travel and be stationed at project sites as required.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
• Possess a positive attitude, good teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Own a motorcycle or car with a valid driving licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
