WM - AWS Gen AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data ingestion and ETL pipelines using AWS-native services.
• Develop and maintain data curation frameworks to ensure data quality, lineage, and governance.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Leverage streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming) for real-time data processing.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ensure best practices in data modeling, data warehousing, and data engineering.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
• Contributes to the adoption of Gen AI and advanced analytics by ensuring data readiness and accessibility.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Data Services: Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, etc.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Spark Streaming.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles, ETL frameworks, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, normalized, etc.).
• Exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB) is a plus.
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Awareness or hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies is a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Solutions Architect) is a plus.
• Experience in the Wealth Management or Financial Services domain is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
