Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wood Floor Refinisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and enhancing the beauty of hardwood floors through expert refinishing techniques. Your expertise will help transform worn or damaged floors into stunning, high-quality surfaces that elevate the aesthetic and value of residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities

• Prepare floors by removing old finishes, sanding, and smoothing surfaces using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal results.
• Apply stains, sealants, varnishes, and protective coatings with precision to achieve desired finishes and durability.
• Perform floor repairs such as filling cracks, replacing damaged boards, and addressing water damage restoration issues.
• Floor installation including wood and vinyl or tile laying skills are welcome
• Maintain a clean and safe work space including DAILY jobsite cleanup

Requirements

• Proven experience in floor refinishing, hardwood floor installation, or related construction industry roles.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, buffing equipment, and other flooring installation tools.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while working on construction sites or during restoration projects.
• Familiarity with water damage restoration processes and floor care techniques to ensure long-lasting results
• Knowledge of building installation safety compliance standards and adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Valid construction site experience with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $35.00 per hour
