Wood Machinist

Job Summary

We are a bespoke furniture company looking for experienced wood machinists to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be required to work a 39-hour week, Monday to Thursday (please note that overtime is available and, at times, required). They will be required to produce furniture to a high standard.

Salary depending on experience.

Essential:

· Experience Working Cross Cuts, Dim saw, Band Saw, Sanders and Boring Machines

· Ability to work at a fast pace while continuing to produce goods to a high standard.

· Punctuality and the ability to meet targets.

· Ability to work in a team.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Experience with fully doweled furniture & polished work is favourable

· To be self-motivated to produce accurate and high quality frames in line with product specifications.

· Ensure that the Company’s Health & Safety Policies are rigorously applied and complied with.

· Compliance with the Company’s policies and directives.

Expected hours: 39.0 per week
