Wood Window & Door Assembler

Dover Windows has built custom wood windows and doors for over 40 years. We're looking for a careful, hands-on woodworker to join our shop in Harrington, mainly in assembly, with the flexibility to help in other departments when the schedule calls for it.

Pay commensurate with experience · Full-time · Mon–Fri 7am–4pm · No nights or weekends

What you'll do

• Assembly (primary): Put together window sash, frames, and doors from milled parts using glue, epoxy, and fasteners. Keep units square, flush, and tight to spec.
• Read shop drawings and cut lists to make sure every unit is built right
• Inspect your work, catch defects, and fix them before they move on
• As needed: Help in rough milling (table saw, upcut saw, jointer, planer) and sanding/prep
• Work safely with proper PPE and OSHA practices

What we're looking for

• Experience in woodworking, cabinetmaking, millwork, furniture, or finish carpentry
• Comfortable with clamps, hand tools, and power tools; machine experience a plus
• Accurate with a tape measure (imperial and metric)
• Cares about quality and takes ownership of the work
• Willing to pitch in wherever the shop needs you
• Dependable, on time, and works well alone or with a team
• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle repetitive standing work
• Reliable transportation
