General Woodworker / Production

Kestell Furniture is looking for a general production woodworker to work across our production process.

What You’ll Do

• Cut and machine boards and furniture parts
• Operate woodworking machinery and shop tools
• Assemble tables, chairs, and other furniture components
• Rough sand and finish sand wood parts and assemblies
• Apply stain and lacquer
• Upholster tables and chair components
• Inspect and touch up finished product
• Package finished goods
• Palletize orders
• Move materials, parts, and finished product around the shop
• Help wherever production needs it that day
• Keep the shop tidy and organized

• Comfortable working with your hands
• Able to measure accurately and follow basic instructions
• Willing to learn different machines and production processes
• Able to work independently once trained
• Pays attention to quality without turning every task into an all-day project
• Keeps moving when one job is finished instead of waiting to be assigned the next thing
• Helps coworkers and shares what you know
• Able to handle normal physical manufacturing work

Woodworking, construction or manufacturing experience is helpful, but being mechanically inclined, productive, dependable, and willing to learn matters more.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
