Woodworker

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Woodworker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and finishing wooden products with precision and care. Duties

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble wood components
• Measure and mark materials accurately according to project specifications
• Fabricate custom wooden parts and structures in accordance with design plans
• Perform assembly of wooden products, ensuring proper fit and finish
• Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards
• Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the workshop, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
• Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products as required
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project specifications

Experience

• Proven experience in woodworking, fabrication, or related trades
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating woodworking machinery and tools
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and sewing techniques for fabricating wooden items
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
• Familiarity with assembly processes and attention to detail in finishing work
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Experience working with various materials including wood, fabric, or composite materials is desirable
