Word Press Developer

A WordPress developer specializes in creating, customizing, and maintaining websites using the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). Their role bridges aesthetics and programming, requiring them to design front-end user interfaces and write back-end code to build fully functional, responsive websites.

A typical WordPress developer role involves a mix of front-end, back-end, and site management duties. The exact day-to-day tasks vary by project, but broadly include the following areas:

Core Responsibilities

• Custom Development: Writing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Front-End Integration: Translating UI/UX designs (e.g., Figma or Adobe XD mockups) into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages that look great on any device.
• Back-End Functionality: Managing website architecture, server/database integration, and ensuring smooth performance and data management.
• Maintenance & Security: Installing core updates, backing up website data, and monitoring site security to protect against vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshooting: Debugging code, fixing broken links, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
• API Integrations: Connecting the website to third-party services, such as payment gateways, CRM systems, or email marketing platforms.
