We are looking for a skilled WordPress and Shopify Developer who can build fast, visually polished websites and reliable e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate combines strong coding skills with practical experience using AI tools to improve development and implement useful website features.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, WooCommerce stores, and Shopify storefronts.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, accurate, and functional websites.
• Build custom themes, reusable components, landing pages, and integrations.
• Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, technical SEO, and conversion journeys.
• Integrate payment gateways, shipping services, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and third-party APIs.
• Implement AI chatbots, product discovery features, content workflows, and business automations.
• Troubleshoot theme conflicts, plugin issues, checkout errors, and hosting problems.
• Manage staging environments, backups, migrations, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to deliver projects on time.

Required Technical Skills

• Core development: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, responsive design, and browser compatibility.
• WordPress: Custom themes and plugins, hooks, child themes, Gutenberg, block themes, Site Editor, theme.json, ACF, Elementor, WooCommerce, and REST API integrations.
• Shopify: Liquid, JSON templates, sections and theme blocks, metafields, metaobjects, Shopify CLI, app integrations, and theme customization.
• Development workflow: Git, GitHub, browser developer tools, npm, API testing, and debugging.
• Website operations: Hosting, cPanel, DNS, SSL, caching, CDN configuration, security, and safe migrations.
• Analytics and SEO: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, schema markup, redirects, and on-page technical implementation.

AI Tools & Implementation

• Hands-on experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot for coding, debugging, documentation, and testing.
• Ability to review, understand, and validate AI-generated code before deployment.
• Experience connecting AI services through APIs to create website assistants, lead qualification workflows, or customer support features.
• Familiarity with n8n, Make, or Zapier for connecting websites with business systems.
• Understanding of secure API key handling, customer data privacy, and AI usage costs.

Preferred Additional Skills

• TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Node.js.
• Shopify Hydrogen, Storefront API, GraphQL Admin API, Shopify Functions, and checkout extensions.
• Headless WordPress, custom Gutenberg blocks, and Shopify app development.
• Automated testing with Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience with subscription stores, multilingual websites, and conversion rate optimization.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
