WordPress Developer & UI/UX Designer

Our client is a fast-growing marketing agency serving 310+ active wedding venues across the United States. We help venue owners generate qualified leads, book tour appointments, and scale revenue through paid advertising, CRM systems, and optimized sales processes. With aggressive targets pushing toward 600+ clients by the end of 2026, our team operates at high volume and high velocity.

Role Overview

We are seeking a WordPress Developer & UI/UX Designer who can handle the entire lifecycle of a build: design it, build it, and ship it. This role requires an equal balance of creative design intuition and technical hands-on execution. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing client-facing websites and landing pages that are visually refined, lightning-fast, and built to convert.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Lifecycle Builds: Create and customize WordPress websites for wedding venue clients from initial brief to final launch.
• Conversion-Focused UI/UX: Design modern, mobile-optimized layouts tailored to each client's unique brand identity.
• Paid Campaign Landing Pages: Build landing pages connected to Meta ad campaigns specifically engineered to capture leads and schedule tour bookings.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Execute copy updates, design refreshes, bug fixes, and performance optimizations (page speed, responsive fixes, broken links).
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with Paid Media and Client Success (CSR) teams to ensure web assets integrate seamlessly with advertising strategies.
• Multi-Project Execution: Manage multiple client builds simultaneously while adhering strictly to delivery deadlines.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ Years Experience: Proven track record in WordPress development with a portfolio demonstrating live, client-ready work.
• UI/UX Design Proficiency: Ability to conceptualize and produce full design layouts independently—not just implement pre-made mockups.
• Core Web Stack: Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills for custom coding when page builders hit limitations.
• Page Builder Expertise: Hands-on experience with Elementor, Divi, or equivalent page builders.
• Autonomy: Self-starter capable of taking a project from zero to launch with minimal supervision.
• English Proficiency: B2+ level minimum (written and spoken) for clear, professional communication.

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience with funnel/landing page tools like GoHighLevel or ClickFunnels.
• Understanding of on-page SEO best practices (heading structures, metadata, schema markup).
• Background in a fast-paced agency environment managing high volume across multiple clients.
• Familiarity with the Meta Ads ecosystem and how ad traffic interacts with landing pages.
• CSS/JS animation or micro-interaction capabilities.

Schedule, Location & Compensation

• Location: Remote
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Compensation Range: $1,500 – $2,500 USD / month
