WordPress Developer

We are looking for a skilled WordPress developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain customized WordPress websites tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build bespoke WordPress websites from the ground up.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing WordPress sites.
• Collaborate with designers to bring Figma mockups to life.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Use Photoshop and Illustrator to create or refine visual assets.
• Gather project requirements and create comprehensive documentation.
• Develop and implement e-commerce functionalities using WooCommerce and related plugins.
• Stay current with WordPress trends, updates, and best practices, particularly around security.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of WooCommerce and other e-commerce plugins.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Competence in documentation and project management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WordPress multisite networks.
• Knowledge of WordPress security best practices.
• Expertise in optimizing WordPress performance.
• Familiarity with other content management systems (CMS).
