Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on business requirements.
• Develop custom themes, templates, and plugins when required.
• Convert UI designs from Figma/PSD/XD into responsive WordPress websites.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services.
• Perform website maintenance, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, security, and performance.
• Identify and fix bugs, compatibility issues, and technical problems.
• Work with databases and perform basic MySQL operations.
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, SEO teams, and clients.
• Follow WordPress coding standards and best practices.
• Design websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Translate business requirements into effective UI/UX solutions.
• Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable components.
• Conduct user research and usability testing when required.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Review existing interfaces and recommend UX/UI improvements.
• Ensure consistency in typography, colors, layouts, spacing, and visual elements.
• Create designs based on usability, accessibility, and modern design standards.
• Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with WordPress CMS.
• Good knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Strong understanding of WordPress themes and plugins.
• Experience with Elementor / WPBakery / Gutenberg is preferred.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce is an advantage.
• Understanding of responsive web design.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of website security and hosting/server environments
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Figma.
• Knowledge of Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator is an advantage.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and user journeys.
• Good understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Understanding of usability and user-centered design.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is an added advantage.
• Experience designing websites and mobile applications.
• Good understanding of typography, color theory, layouts, and visual hierarchy.
