Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior WordPress Developer role based in Lahore, working night shift hours (7 PM – 4 AM) to align with our US-based clients and team.

The Junior WordPress Developer will assist in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites including themes, plugins, and page-builder-based sites to support client projects and internal initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their development career to grow their skills while working directly on live client projects in a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and customizing responsive WordPress websites and landing pages
• Implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Support back-end functionality and basic PHP customizations
• Work with popular WordPress page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.) and theme frameworks
• Perform basic troubleshooting, bug fixes, and site maintenance
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Follow WordPress security best practices under guidance from senior team members
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and senior developers to deliver client requirements
• Contribute to internal development workflows and continuous learning

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1.5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development (agency experience is a plus)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP
• Experience customizing WordPress themes and plugins
• Familiarity with at least one WordPress page builder (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.)
• Basic understanding of responsive design principles
• Exposure to version control tools (Git) is a plus, not required
• Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals and site performance is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience/portfolio
• Willingness to work night shift (7 PM – 4 AM) on-site in Lahore
• Eagerness to learn, take feedback well, and grow within a team-based agency setting
