The role
We’re hiring an experienced WordPress Developer to build new sites, manage and maintain our portfolio of existing client projects, and work closely with our marketing teams. You’ll work in SiteOrigin Page Builder daily and use Claude Code (Anthropic’s command-line coding tool) to review code and develop new features. The right person works well autonomously, brings a positive attitude and close attention to detail, and looks for better ways to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize WordPress websites using SiteOrigin Page Builder
• Use Claude Code to review code, catch issues early, and develop new code and features
• Manage and maintain existing client websites, including updates, fixes, and ongoing improvements
• Partner with SEO, paid media, and content teams to launch landing pages, campaigns, and site updates
• Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across client sites
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams
• Identify and implement improvements to internal development processes, workflows, and documentation
• Stay current with WordPress releases, web standards, and AI-assisted development practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience
• Experience with SiteOrigin Page Builder (preferred)
• Hands-on experience using Claude Code or a similar AI coding tool for code review and development
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development
• Knowledge of web performance optimization and SEO best practices
• Experience maintaining sites you didn’t build, and managing multiple projects at once
• Comfortable working with marketing teams and translating their requests into technical work
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
