Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a WordPress Developer - Intern at SRIYOG. The intern will assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites under the guidance of senior team members.

Day-to-day tasks may include configuring themes and plugins, updating content, troubleshooting website issues, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly design. The intern will also help with basic performance optimization, testing site functionality, and documenting changes.

This internship offers hands-on experience with WordPress development and exposure to client-focused IT consulting work.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and the admin dashboard.
• Foundational knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
• Interest in website performance, usability, and responsive design across devices.
• Ability to research solutions, follow technical documentation, and learn new tools quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to test and debug website functionality.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage time and tasks independently in a remote work environment.
• Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program (Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or similar) is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Any prior exposure to PHP, MySQL, or version control (e.g., Git) is a plus.
