Wordpress Intern

About the Role:

Buzo Media Services is a professional digital agency, and we are looking for a dedicated WordPress Developer Intern to join our core team. This is a hands-on, full-time agency internship—not a training course. We expect you to already have a foundational understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, JS) so you can dive straight into real client projects.

Our Ultimate Goal: We are treating this 6-month internship as a screening period to find our next permanent team member. If you prove to be the right fit, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and deliver results during this period, our intention is to absorb you as a full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team and meet with clients to discuss website design, function, and requirements.
• Design, build, and manage the front-end and back-end of WordPress websites.
• Convert XD/Figma designs into fully responsive, live WordPress sites.
• Plan and create website architecture, including database and basic server integrations.
• Develop, customize, and generate WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conduct website performance tests, debug errors, and troubleshoot content issues.

Requirements & What We Value:

• Independent Problem-Solver: Agency work involves random, undocumented challenges. You must have a strong "go-getter" attitude and the capability to research, troubleshoot, and find solutions to technical problems on your own. (This is our top criteria).
• AI Adaptability: You should have a practical understanding of AI coding tools (like Claude, ChatGPT, Codex). More importantly, you must have a genuine desire to continuously explore and integrate future AI technologies to make your coding and problem-solving more efficient.
• Foundational Tech Skills: Solid working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are a must for seamless internal team collaboration and client discussions.
• WordPress Expertise: Experience in theme development, customization, and working with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Bonus Skills: Basic knowledge or understanding of other CMS platforms like Shopify or Magento is a huge plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a similar field.

About the Internship: It's a 6 months full-time work from office internship you
will receive a fixed stipend of Rs.5000/- a month.
