About the role

Working primarily within our programmes space, you will build strong employer relationships, identify job opportunities, and support participants into meaningful employment pathways across the Waikato region.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining relationships with employers across a range of industries
• Identifying employment opportunities and workforce needs
• Matching participants to suitable vacancies and employment pathways
• Coordinating referrals, interviews, and employment placements
• Supporting learners and employers to achieve sustainable employment outcomes
• Maintaining accurate records and outcome reporting
• Working closely with the Māori & Pasifika Team, Regional Managers, Training Advisors, Pastoral Care, and stakeholders to achieve programme outcomes

About you

• Experience in employment services, recruitment, workforce development, account management, sales, or industry engagement
• Strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Confidence working with diverse communities and employers
• Full New Zealand Driver Licence
