What they need
We help Americans unlock wealth and break free from the corporate day-to-day grind through
business acquisitions. We’re a fast-growing firm building a lean, high-performance remote team
focused on real results and long-term growth.
As an M&A Associate, you’ll play a critical role in driving deal flow and supporting transaction
execution. You’ll be hands-on in sourcing opportunities, managing broker relationships,
organizing deal data, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. This is a high-impact role with strong growth potential as we scale.
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented associate to support deal sourcing and early-stage
execution. You’ll work directly with live opportunities—handling communication, organizing key
documents, and keeping deal flow moving efficiently.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and
wants to grow into a leadership position.
Results
- Consistent pipeline of qualified deal opportunities
- Smooth and timely NDA execution and document collection
- Organized inbox and communication flow with no missed follow-ups
- Strong broker relationships and responsive communication
- Efficient scheduling and coordination of broker calls
- Clean, structured deal data ready for evaluation
Responsibilities
- Source and identify deals aligned with partner investment criteria
- Send, track, and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Organize and manage partner email inboxes, flagging key messages
- Collect and organize CIMs and financial documents post-NDA
- Communicate with brokers to request information and follow up on deals
- Track deal status and maintain accurate records
- Schedule and coordinate broker intro calls with internal stakeholders
- Ensure all deal-related information is properly documented and accessible
KPI Targets & Performance Metrics
To ensure alignment across all stages of the deal pipeline, performance will be measured using the following KPIs
1)Sourcing Volume & Pipeline Health (Weekly)
- Exceptional: 2+ qualified deals presented per client per week
- Green: At least 1 qualified deal presented per client per week
- Below Target: 0 deals presented in a given week
Focus: Consistent deal flow, active pipeline management, and zero stagnation
2)Email Management & SLA Compliance (Daily)
- Exceptional: 100% of emails/actions completed within 1 business day
- Green: 95%+ compliance with minimal delays
- Below Target: <95% compliance or repeated missed follow-ups
Focus: Speed, reliability, and operational excellence in communication
3)Deal Qualification Quality
- Ensure deals presented meet client criteria and are actionable
- Maintain high acceptance rates from clients and internal stakeholders
- Avoid low-quality or irrelevant deal submissions
Focus: Quality over quantity—strong judgment and analytical thinking
Requirements
- 1+ year experience in a high-volume, match-to-criteria role: sourcing, lead generation, recruiting, market research, or similar work that involves finding and qualifying many options against a set of criteria
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound and broker or client email communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Enough financial literacy to sanity-check a deal (cash flow, basic fit); deeper finance or modeling experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Sound judgment on deal fit: can recognize when a deal does not qualify and should be passed on
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Self-starter mindset with a drive to continuously improve
- Solid problem-solving ability and genuine curiosity about how businesses work
Nice to Have
- A finance, M&A, investment banking, private equity, or accounting background is welcome, but not required
- Experience in remote or fast-paced startup environments
- Exposure to CRM or deal management tools
What We Offer
- Fully remote work environment
- Direct exposure to live M&A deals
- High-growth role with a path to leadership and team management
- Opportunity for equity and profit sharing as the company scales
- Fast-paced, performance-driven culture with strong learning opportunities
