Work Planner

• Contract: Temporary for 12 months
• Salary: £32,008
• Hours: 37 per week
• Closing Date: Tuesday 20th October 2026 at 12pm

The purpose of this role is to :

• Coordinate the scheduling and planning of operatives, contractors, and suppliers across responsive repairs, planned and cyclical maintenance, compliance works, voids, and environmental works.
• Accurately diagnose repair requests to reduce repeat contact, improve productivity and performance, and support a safe working environment.
• Plan and prioritise trade operatives’ diaries to optimise resources and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Arrange specialist equipment and materials as required.
• Plan, prioritise, and administer work undertaken by contractors and suppliers.
• Raise work orders and order materials as required.

Essential Criteria

• Demonstrable experience of effectively planning, organising and scheduling trade operatives' workloads and diaries.

Desirable Criteria

• Significant experience working within a building construction, trades or maintenance services environment.
• Expert user of Housing Management and Field Service Management ICT systems.

Experience of using ActiveH Housing Management software.
