This is a key role responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring highway maintenance and improvement work programmes across the county. Working closely with engineers, supervisors and operational teams, you will develop and manage work schedules, oversee the allocation of labour, plant and materials, monitor performance against key targets, and support the successful delivery of projects from planning through to completion. You should be confident working with data, performance monitoring systems and stakeholders at all levels, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and customer service. In return, you'll join a dynamic and high-performing team at a time of exciting transformation, with the opportunity to contribute directly to the maintenance and improvement of Cumberland's highway network.

This is a rewarding role where your work will have a visible impact on local communities, supported by opportunities for professional development, collaborative working and involvement in a diverse range of projects.

We’re also about potential over perfection and we can help you grow in the role and thrive in your career.
