Workato Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Workato recipes.
• Build and maintain connections between applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, Jira, and other cloud/on-premises systems.
• Develop reusable Workato assets, connectors, and automation workflows.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integrations and automations.
• Implement error handling, logging, and performance monitoring for integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are followed.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and support procedures.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• experience in integration development.
• Hands-on experience with Workato platform development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and JSON/XML.
• Experience with API integration and middleware concepts.
• Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
• Experience with cloud applications and SaaS integrations.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
