Hiring: Workbench HR Module SME / Consultant

We are looking for a senior Workbench HR Module Expert for a long-term engagement with Suffolk County, NY.

Mandatory Requirement

Strong, hands-on expertise with the Workbench HR Module is required.

We are specifically seeking candidates who have directly configured, implemented, enhanced, and supported Workbench HR, rather than candidates with only general HRIS experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Workbench HR Module functionality
• Support HR workflows, business processes, and system configurations
• Troubleshoot complex Workbench HR functional and technical issues
• Gather HR/business requirements and translate them into system solutions
• Support Workbench HR integrations, interfaces, reporting, and data extracts
• Support employee lifecycle and HR data-management processes
• Participate in enhancements, upgrades, testing, UAT, and production deployments
• Support HR data security, roles, permissions, and system controls
• Develop functional specifications, process flows, and configuration documentation
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other business stakeholders.

• Workbench HR implementations/projects
• Modules and functionality personally configured
• HR workflows developed or supported
• Workbench integrations and interfaces
• Complex production issues resolved
• Upgrades, enhancements, and implementation experience.

Please note: Workbench HR Module expertise is a mandatory requirement. General HRIS experience without hands-on Workbench HR experience will not be sufficient.

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10040
