Workday Architect

Position: Workday Architect.

Job Description Overview

Quasent is looking for a Workday Architect for a 12 month contract in Columbus, OH.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Workday solutions across modules such as HCM, Finance, Payroll, and other Workday applications to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• You will drive the Solution Architecture & Design.
• Lead the architectural design for Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and overall IT strategy
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable, efficient configurations for HCM, Finance, Payroll, and other modules.
• Oversee Workday module implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring best practices, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Provide technical leadership during project execution, including configuration, customization, and optimization.
• Design and manage integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency, security, and reliability.
• Optimize data flows, process integrations, and reporting between Workday and third-party tools.

What you bring to the table:

Technical Expertise

• Apply deep knowledge of Workday’s tools (e.g., Workday Studio, EIB, PECI), security models, and business process framework.
• Stay current with Workday releases, enhancements, and industry best practices.
• Work closely with IT, HR, Finance, and other departments to deliver solutions that meet all stakeholder needs.
• Prior Energy, Power, or Utility industry experience a plus.
• Lead cross-functional teams, mentor junior architects, and contribute to thought leadership in Workday architecture.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience : Typically 7–10+ years in Workday implementation, with at least 3 years in a senior architect or leadership role.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in Workday HCM, Financials, Payroll, integrations, reporting, security, and configuration.
• Certifications : Workday Certified Professional or higher preferred.
