Workday Business Systems Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Workday Prism Analytics and Workday Accounting Center (ACC) to support and enhance our Finance Digital Transformation initiatives. You will partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to design, implement, and support solutions that transform operational data into actionable financial insights and automated accounting processes.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, functional knowledge of Workday Financials, and hands-on experience with data pipelines, accounting processes, integrations, and financial reporting across multiple source systems.

Responsibilities

• Workday Accounting Center: Design, configure, and support use cases; define accounting rules and mappings for high-volume operational transactions; transform source business events into accounting journal entries; support reconciliation, balancing, and audit requirements; partner with Accounting and Finance teams on new accounting requirements; and troubleshoot processing issues and journal generation problems.
• Workday Prism Analytics: Design and develop data pipelines; ingest data from internal and external systems; develop datasets, derived datasets, joins, unions, and transformations; manage full and incremental data loads; optimize performance and data processing; and support reporting, dashboards, and analytics built on Prism datasets.
• Integration & Data Management: Work with integration teams to ingest data from source systems; support Workday Studio, EIB, APIs, and integration frameworks; ensure data quality, validation, reconciliation, and governance; and collaborate with Data Engineering teams on data architecture and data flows.
• Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards; support Finance and Accounting reporting requirements; perform data analysis and provide business insights; and validate data accuracy across upstream and downstream systems.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of Workday Financials experience.
• 3+ years of Workday Accounting Center experience.
• 3+ years of Workday Prism Analytics experience.
• Experience supporting General Ledger and financial accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial data flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
