Workday Compensation Manager

Responsibilities Kforce has a client seeking a Workday Compensation Manager in Miami, FL (Florida). Summary: The Workday Compensation Manager is responsible for the stability, support, and continuous evolution of the Workday Compensation platform for the shipboard employee population. This role combines project leadership, system configuration, testing, and end-user support, ensuring both day to day operations and project delivery are executed effectively. Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert to independently lead and configure Workday Shipboard Compensation for production support and Phase X project implementation
• Provide expert-level consulting to the HR Compensation team, Directors and Vice Presidents on compensation-related processes, best practices, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with HR centers of excellence, IT, Payroll, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable HR technology solutions
• Partner with other functional teams (e.g., HRBP's, Talent Acquisition, Benefits and Payroll) to ensure seamless integration of compensation data across systems
• Lead testing and deployment of new compensation plans and business processes
• Conduct regular audits and ensure data accuracy, compliance with company policies, and alignment with compensation programs
• Act as primary escalation point for complex issues and defects
• May manage a small team of compensation analysts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience leading and configuring Workday Core and Advanced Compensation
• Experience leading HRIS implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations
• Experience supporting unionized employee populations and complex compensation structures
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of HR functions including compensation, talent acquisition, and talent development

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday Pro Certification
• Project Management certification
• HRIS management experience within a large enterprise environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
