Workday Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Workday Consultant to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions to optimize HR processes and enhance organizational efficiency. Your expertise will drive successful software implementations, system integrations, and ongoing support to ensure seamless HR operations. Duties

• Lead end-to-end Workday implementation projects, including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment of HCM modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions within the Workday platform.
• Perform system administration tasks such as user management, security configuration, and role setup to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, XML, or middleware tools.
• Troubleshoot system issues related to software performance, data discrepancies, or integration failures; implement effective solutions promptly.
• Conduct system tuning and performance optimization to ensure high availability and responsiveness of HR services.
• Support ongoing system upgrades, patches, and configuration management activities aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules along with experience in software implementation and administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell Scripting, or Bash for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with solution architecture principles including Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and system design.
• Experience with IT infrastructure components like RAID controllers, VMware ESXi virtualization, Kubernetes orchestration, AWS cloud services, Azure platforms, and system tuning.
• Expertise in database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases; including T-SQL and PL/SQL scripting.
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts including VPNs, firewalls, DNS/DHCP management, load balancing, and Active Directory management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues involving operating systems (Windows Server & Linux), server backup/recovery strategies, storage management, and system security protocols like information security practices.
• Experience supporting DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git; familiarity with RESTful APIs for integrations.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies for project delivery; experience working within SDLC frameworks for software development projects.

Pay: $54.16 - $65.23 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
