Workday Consultant Functional & Technical

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant with a broad functional and technical skill set. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across multiple Workday areas and be capable of supporting both functional and technical requirements.

The candidate should be particularly strong in Workday HCM and Integrations, with additional experience across Payroll, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, and related Workday capabilities. The expectation is that the candidate can work across multiple areas rather than being highly specialized in a single module.

Required Experience & Skills

• 4–5 years of relevant Workday experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM

• Experience across multiple Workday functional areas, including:

• Core HCM

• Payroll and Compensation

• Advanced Compensation

• Recruiting

• Talent Assessment

• Talent Management

• Workday Business Processes

• Workday Reporting and Analytics

• Strong experience with Workday Integrations

• Ability to work across both functional and technical requirements

• Experience with both production support and implementation/enhancement projects

• Workday certification(s) preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently across multiple Workday areas

Technical Integration Skills

Hands-on experience with standard Workday integrations and related technologies, including:

• Workday Studio
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
• Core Connectors
• PECI / PICOF
• Web Services / REST / SOAP
• Workday Reports / RaaS
• XSLT

Strong integration experience combined with HCM expertise is highly desirable.

Prism Analytics

• Workday Prism Analytics experience is a nice-to-have
• Hands-on Prism development experience is preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Support Workday production issues and enhancements
• Participate in Workday implementations and configuration activities
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
• Configure and support Workday HCM and related functional areas
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations
• Support standard Workday integration technologies
• Work with business and technical teams to resolve issues
• Participate in testing, deployment, and post-production support
• Provide cross-functional Workday expertise as required

Location & Working Hours

• Location: Remote – India
• Candidate must be able to provide sufficient working-hour overlap with the U.S. team, working until approximately 12:00PM Pacific Time

Contract & Engagement

• Start Date: As early as possible
• Resource requirement/number of resources will depend on candidate availability and rate
• Potential opportunity to replace an existing resource if a suitable candidate is identified
• Rate will be a consideration in determining the final resource requirement
