Workday Financial Analyst

The Workday Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting, evaluating, and enhancing the Finance module within the Workday platform. This position will support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of Workday Financials, including troubleshooting system issues, assisting with configuration changes, and supporting system improvements.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Workday experience and a foundational understanding of Workday Financials. Working as part of an experienced Workday team, the Analyst will help support business users, investigate reported issues, and contribute to the effective operation of the Workday Finance platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Workday Finance module and assist with maintaining and optimizing the platform to meet Enterprise needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reported Workday Financials issues and support day-to-day ticket resolution.
• Assist with Workday Financials configuration and system enhancements.
• Evaluate system issues and identify appropriate solutions within Workday.
• Support testing and implementation of configuration changes and system updates.
• Assist with reporting and analysis within Workday Financials.
• Support Business Process configuration, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain appropriate documentation around system configuration, processes, and solutions.
• Work closely with experienced Workday Financial Analysts and other technical team members to resolve issues and support the Workday platform.
• Assist with governance and established processes surrounding Workday configuration and system changes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Workday Finance environment.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of Workday experience.
• Exposure to or experience supporting Workday Financials.
• Understanding of Workday configuration and business processes.
• Experience troubleshooting Workday issues and supporting ticket resolution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an experienced Workday team.
• Good understanding of Finance processes and how they are supported within Workday.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Financials configuration.
• Experience with Workday reporting and analysis.
• Experience with Business Process configuration.
• Workday Financials certification is a plus.
• Experience working within a large or complex Workday environment is beneficial.
