Workday HCM Core Functional
Experience: 8 to 10 Years
Work Location: Chennai / Andheri - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Understand Workday release mechanics, including Preview Tenants, Feature Activation, Backwards Compatibility, and Known Issue Management.

• Strong working knowledge of Workday HCM functional areas:
  Core HR

• Payroll, including integrations

• Talent

• Absence

• Understand the Workday integration framework, including:

• Workday Studio

• EIB

• Core Connectors

• Assess the impact of Workday releases on existing integrations and business processes.

• Read and interpret Workday Release Notes and translate them into business and technical impact assessments.

• Navigate Workday Community for release documentation, Known Issues, and Workday Brainstorm.

• Apply release management frameworks such as ITIL, SAFe, or equivalent in SaaS environments.

• Lead Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and Go/No-Go governance forums.

• Manage cross-functional and cross-geography dependencies in complex matrix organizations.

• Identify, escalate, and mitigate project/release risks.
