Workday Integration Engineer

We’re looking for a contract Workday Integration Engineer to build and support integrations between Workday and the systems that power our People workflows. You’ll work closely with People Systems and Engineering partners to improve data quality, automate manual processes, and make critical integrations more reliable.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, test, and support integrations between Workday and other business systems.
• Use Workday Studio, Orchestrations, EIB, and Cloud Connect to develop and maintain integration workflows.
• Write and debug code, troubleshoot production issues, and identify ways to improve reliability.
• Partner with People Systems and Engineering to understand requirements and turn them into practical technical solutions.
• Help reduce manual work and improve the accuracy of data moving between systems.

What we’re looking for

• At least midlevel experience building and supporting Workday integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies, including Studio, Orchestrations, EIB, and Cloud Connect.
• Strong coding, debugging, and production troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

Experience connecting Workday with payroll, benefits, recruiting, finance, or identity systems is a plus. We’d also value someone who has worked both internally at a Workday customer and as a consultant, bringing an understanding of both perspectives. Experience at a technology company would be especially relevant given the pace of the work.

Pay Rate: $90-$115/hour
